ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ : ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ISI ਸਮਰਥਿਤ ਨਾਰਕੋ ਟੈਰਰ ਮਾਡਿਊਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਦਾਫਾਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦਿਹਾਤੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਯੋਗਰਾਜ ਉਰਫ ਯੋਗ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਆਈਈਡੀ, 2 ਏਕੇ-56 ਰਾਈਫਲਾਂ, ਇੱਕ ਪਿਸਤੌਲ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਟਿਫ਼ਨ ਬਾਕਸ ਵਿੱਚ 2 ਕਿਲੋ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ ਜ਼ਬਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਡੀਜੀਪੀ ਗੌਰਵ ਯਾਦਵ ਨੇ ਟਵੀਟ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਸਦੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ‘ਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੰਡਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ‘ਚ ਰਹਿ ਰਹੇ ਰਿੰਦਾ ਦੇ ਕਹਿਣ ‘ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। 2019 ‘ਚ ਵੀ AK-56 ਦੀ ਖੇਪ ਆਈ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ‘ਚ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।

ਡੀਜੀਪੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਖਰਾਬ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੀ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ। ਦੱਸਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦਿਹਾਤੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ-ਪਾਕਿ ਸਰਹੱਦ ‘ਤੇ ਕੰਡਿਆਲੀ ਤਾਰ ਨੇੜੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਭੇਜੀ ਗਈ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਖੇਪ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।

ਡੀਜੀਪੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ISI-ਸਮਰਥਿਤ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਮਾਡਿਊਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਦਾਫਾਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਰੂਪਨਗਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ, ਸੀ.ਆਈ.ਏ ਮੋਗਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੀ ਤਾਲਮੇਲ ਨਾਲ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ-ਅਧਾਰਤ ਕੇਟੀਐਫ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਅਰਸ਼ ਡਾਲਾ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਾਲੇ 1 ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਖੇਪ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੀ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੀ ਸੋਚ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਰੱਖੇਗੀ।
