‘ਦ ਖਾਲਸ ਬਿਊਰੋ:- ਪੂਰੀ ਦੁਨਿਆ ਭਰ ‘ਚ ਕੋਰੋਨਾ ਵਾਇਰਸ ਦੇ ਚੱਲਦਿਆਂ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਗਏ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਿਸ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਪੈਸ਼ਲ ਚਾਰਟਰਡ ਉਡਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਯੂਐਸ ਅੰਬੈਸੀ ਵਲੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਅਮਰੀਕਨ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਏਅਰਪੋਰਟ ਤੋਂ ਸਪੈਸ਼ਲ ਚਾਰਟਰਡ ਫਲਾਈਟ ਰਾਹੀਂ 7 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਮ 7:15 ਦੀ ਉਡਾਨ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਫੇਰ ਉਥੋਂ 8 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ਨੂੰ ਸਵੇਰੇ 2:25 ਦੀ ਚਾਰਟਰਡ ਫਲਾਈਟ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸੈਨ ਫਰਾਂਸਸਿਕੋ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
ਇੱਥੇ ਇਹ ਦੱਸਣਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅੱਪਡੇਟ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਫਾਊਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਘੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਸੇਵੀ ਸੁੱਖੀ ਚਹਿਲ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੂਰ ਪੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਨਵੇਂ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦਿਆ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਤੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਸੀ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਪਸ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਚਾਰਟਰਡ ਫਲਾਈਟ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਭਾਰਤ ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਐਨਆਰਆਈਜ਼ ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਦੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਟਰੰਪ ਕੋਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਫਾਉਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਸੁੱਖੀ ਚਹਿਲ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕਈ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕਰਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਪੈਸ਼ਲ ਚਾਰਟਰਡ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਸੁੱਖੀ ਚਹਿਲ ਨੇ ਐਨਆਰਆਈਜ਼ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਹਰਦੀਪ ਪੁਰੀ ਕੋਲ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਮੁੱਦਾ ਉਠਾ ਕੇ ਹੱਲ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਯਤਨ ਕੀਤੇ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਲੋਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਪੈਸ਼ਲ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਲਗਾਈ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਸੁੱਖੀ ਚਹਿਲ ਤੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਤਾਲਮੇਲ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।

You must provide the following information for all travelers: full name, date of birth, place of birth, citizenship, gender, passport number, and passport expiration date.We will work to provide those who request a seat on this flight with appropriate documentation to allow for travel to the AMRITSAR airport.
We do not know if U.S. government-organized flights returning to the United States will continue after this week.We urge U.S. citizens who want to return to the United States to take advantage of the current opportunities.
All passengers MUST have a valid U.S. passport or other U.S. travel document (e.g. green card, visa) to board the flight.If any member of your party does not have a currently valid U.S. travel document, please note this in your email.
